Items will be posted as soon as money for the order clears into our account - this is usually straight away for PayPal or credit card payments, sometimes slightly longer for direct deposit transactions. Please feel free to email us if you are concerned that your order is taking longer than expected to get to you, alternatively you can check what date your order shipped in the 'Order Tracking' link on the LHS of the homepage.

Our 'store' is located in Townsville Queensland, so if you live here also, please feel free to come and collect your order from us directly.
We understand how frustrating postage costs can be when buying over the internet so we have tried to provide you with as many choices as possible.
Australian post - this option is NOT INSURED, TRACKABLE or REPLACEABLE. This option is available and may provide you with a cheaper shipping rate if you are only purchasing one or two items (one - two nappies (or so) to send costs about $7.00). However, if your parcel is LOST OR STOLEN the fate of your parcel lies with Australia Post. They do cover some costs if your parcel is lost and we will endeavour to assist you in your claim for this but we will not resend, refund or otherwise cover the cost of the loss. Please check your order, as it may in fact be CHEAPER to send your order via courier or Express post (that are both insurable and trackable). Postage costs for 2 - 3 nappies and over costs about $11.50 with AP, yet courier costs for these same items only comes to $9.55. So it may be worthwhile rethinking how you would like your order sent.
Express Post - This
option again depends on weight and dimensions of your parcel. Express
post provides a trackable service with limited insurance and guarantees
quick handling. PLEASE NOTE in most cases Express Post will take 2 days,
not overnight, as our business is located in regional QLD. Courier - This is a fixed price option of $9.55, no matter how big or small your order is. In most cases this shipping option will work out cheaper for you overall. It is trackable and insured so if a parcel is lost or stolen we will resend your parcel immediately with identical items or the nearest alternative. Arrives within 1-10 days (depending on your area; 1 day in QLD, possibly up to 10 days to TAS and WA). Most areas of Australia are serviced by this option, however if your area is not we will send your parcel via Express post at no extra charge. PLEASE use a street address if choosing this option, as the courier does not send parcels to PO Boxes. Returns
We understand the potential problems with online shopping therefore we do have certain return policies:
You may return your purchased item for a full refund (excluding postage) if they are returned within 1 week and you have contacted us previously regarding this. Nappies must be in original condition and not show any evidence of being worn or washed.
You may exchange sizes and colours however postage costs are your responsibility and they must be returned within a reasonable time and not show any evidence of being worn or washed. If you are purchasing nappies for an unborn baby and need to return incorrect size/colour or unwanted items please contact us first.
We try to check each and every nappy that leaves our store for any defects however occasionally these happen. If your nappy incurs a fault within 30 days of purchase please return it to us and we will refund your postage and ship you a new nappy free of charge. Faults include loose, broken or missing snaps or a sewing fault that is not deemed by us to be the result of incorrect use.
Any issues that arise after this time will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Please do contact us if you have any problems with anything you have purchased from us.
Layby
We know that sometimes you want to buy all those nappies, but can't afford to pay all at once. Hence, we do offer a layby option here at The Nappy Bucket. You will need to give us a 10% deposit for your order within a week of ordering, if we don't receive this then we will assume that the order is not wanted anymore and we will cancel it.
Payment is required weekly or fortnightly (though do email us if you are having problems with this). You will need to place your order number or surname and the word 'Layby' into the description when you transfer funds into our nominated bank account so we can keep track of your order. There is a 10% cancellation fee if you decide to cancel your order, and no orders will be sent until they are fully paid off. All laybys must be paid off in 4 months.
If you are having trouble paying off your layby, please get in touch with us. We are flexible with time frames for paying off your layby, however if there has been no activiity (i.e. no extra payments) after your deposit for some time (i.e. 1 - 2 months) then we will assume that you no longer require your layby. At all times we will contact you before cancelling your order, however if we can't get in touch with you, then we will have to assume you don't want the goods anymore.
Simply choose the 'layby' option as the payment option when you get to the end of the shopping cart area and our bank details are also there for you to transfer funds into. You can also transfer your layby payments into our PayPal account (paypal@nappybucket.com.au). Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries about these policies.
Remote Area Trial Pack
If you live in an area not serviced by a Nappy Bucket Demonstrator and would like to view some nappies before purchase we offer a try before you buy package. In this case you or you and a group of friends will provide a deposit and select a number of nappies you would like to see. These nappies must then be returned within 14 days and your full deposit minus postage charges will be returned. Alternatively you can choose to purchase some or all of the nappies.
