This GroVia Shell only option includes NO absorbant snap-in insert included in the price. You can purchase these snap-in inserts separately (2 pack), however the price for these shells is only for the outer cover (you won't get any absorbant insert to go inside your nappy at this price - look at the GroVia one size nappy if you would like the outer shell + insert).
These GroVia shells can also be used as a one size cover over prefolds and fitted nappies if you don't want to use a snap-in insert. You can also purchase the GroVia biosoaker pads, a disposable soaker pad option that is great when you are travelling or going out for the day.
GroVia is designed so that the outer shells may be used for multiple nappy changes. If the soaker pad is wet, simply snap in a fresh one and you are ready to go. If the shell is wet, allow it to air dry and use for the next nappy change. When your GroVia Shell is soiled or very saturated, start fresh with a new GroVia Shell.
Most GroVia System users will find that using 2-4 GroVia Shells are enough per day, although newborn babies may need more.
GroVia will fit MOST babies from 3.6 - 16 kgs. The GroVia Shell features three sets of rise snaps that adjust to fit your baby.
- Newborn/Small Infant Setting: Snap your GroVia Shell rise snaps on the lowest setting. Snap your soaker pad into the shell and simply flip the front of the soaker pad in towards baby.
- Infant Setting: Snap your GroVia Shell rise snaps on the middle setting. Snap your soaker pad into the shell. Tuck the front of your soaker pad down, while pulling the front panel up and fasten on baby.
- Toddler Setting: Leave your GroVia Shell rise snaps unsnapped. Snap your soaker pad into the shell and fasten on baby.
First and foremost it is important to wash and dry your Organic Cotton Soaker Pads or Stay dry Soaker pads at least 3-5 times prior to use. They will not be fully absorbent for up to 10 washes.
When the soaker pad is wet, simply snap in a fresh soaker pad.
The organic cotton soaker pads have a TPU outer, 5 layers of certified organic cotton on the inside and soft leg gussets. The NEW stay dry soaker pads are made from a hemp cotton blend, they have a TPU outer four layers of hemp/cotton blend topped with cozy microfleece and soft leg gussets.
Available with Hook and Loop closures or Snap closures.

Organic boosters and new stay dry boosters can also be purchased separately (in a 2 pack), if you would like to use the nappy at night, or for longer time periods during the day. The organic cotton boosters are made from 3 layers of organic cotton, whereas the stay dry boosters are also made of 3 layers of organic cotton but are topped with a buttery soft 100% polyester fleece. Simply lay the booster on top of the snap-in insert and away you go.
You can purchase the soaker pads separately. These come in a 2 pack.
