The versatile ERGO Baby Carrier offers hands-free closeness like no other! From premmie to preschooler, ERGO's revolutionary design means your comfort won't be compromised. It can be worn on the front, back or hip to support your child in three easy-to-use positions that grow with your needs. The ergonomic design has chiropractic endorsement for the way it supports a correct sitting position for your baby's physical development and eliminates spinal compression.
NEW - Ergo Baby Sport combines all the great features of the Ergo Baby carrier, but with some differences:
- made from a 35% cotton and 65% polyester that wicks the moisture away, making it cooler than the 100% cotton Ergos
- the carrier's body features a vent 'split', designed to allow better circulation and air flow
- the sleeping hood is detachable and adjustable
- the waist strap can extend 12.5cm further and the shoulder straps 10cm further then the standard Ergo carrier, providing a more comfortable fit for babywearers of all sizes
- over 20% lighter than the standard carrier
All of the Ergos are fantastic for taking away on holidays with you as they are easy to fold down into small spaces, so you can leave the bulky pram at home. They are also very cost effective, as you can use them from when your baby is newborn (just slip in an infant insert to make them even more comfy) and wants to be cuddled close to your chest, right up to when your toddler doesn't want to sit in the pram anymore and has a habit of running away from you. Simply put them on your back, which they will love, and they can see what is going on around them while you have the comfort of knowing they are safe. We have used the Ergo for our 15kg 3 year old for carrying around everywhere, and you don't even notice he is on your back, it is designed so well.
Your Ergo comes complete with a DVD of how-to instructions, so you will be carrying your baby like a pro in no time.
NOTE: If you want to carry your baby from newborn to 4
months old, an ERGO Infant Insert is needed. Once your baby has
developed good head control, the Infant Insert is no longer necessary
and your baby may then be placed in the front carry position. After
your baby has developed torso control, usually around 5 months old, she
may be placed in either the hip or back carry position.
